Nancy Hunt-Coffey, MLIS
Nancy Hunt-Coffey is the assistant director of community services for the city of Beverly Hills, where she directs recreation services and the award-winning Beverly Hills Public Library. Nancy previously worked for the city of Glendale, where she worked her way up to the director of libraries. She also was the e-government manager for the city of Glendale, where she oversaw enterprise software systems deployment and Web development. She has completed all of the coursework for her Ph.D. in Information Studies from UCLA. Nancy is a recent graduate of the Berkeley Executive Seminar and the National Urban Fellows’ America’s Leaders of Change program. Her research deals with the concept of joint relevance, studying the way in which relevance judgments are formed and communicated from one group or individual to another.
