Helga Haraldsson has been a business librarian in the USC Marshall School of Business Crocker Library for years. Before that, she was a research consultant at Xerox for two years, where she provided virtual research and analytic services to sales teams and executives worldwide, including prospecting lists, company profiles and in-depth industry and topical research. For more than 20 years, Haraldsson was a senior research analyst in McKinsey & Co.'s Aerospace, High Tech & Industrial Technology practice. Here she performed research and competitive analysis on industries, institutions, companies, products and individuals. She worked virtually with global consulting teams delivering synthesized end products and managed practice infrastructure, improving access to internal knowledge and expertise of consultants. Haraldsson worked with senior leadership to identify and sanitize internal knowledge (lessons learned, tools and frameworks) and built the practice resource collection and established relationships with external experts (e.g. industry experts and analysts). Haraldsson has an MBA from California State University at Northridge, a Master's of Library Science from the School of Library and Information Management at the University of Southern California at Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from California State University at Northridge.
